Description:

Produced on contract for the government of Brazil, most known examples are in very rough condition due to the South American climate and hard use. Blade front and notch rear sights, with a blank chamber, "DWM" toggle and small "B" proof on the left side of the extension. The extractor is marked "CARREGADA" and the lower safety position is polished bright. Matching numbers on the barrel and frame, with matching "commercial style" exterior numbers, straw finished small parts and niter blue pins and springs. Grips are checkered, with an unmarked wood based nickel finished magazine. Included with the lot is an unmarked brown leather flap holster with stitched decorations on the flap and an extra nickel/wood magazine.

Rating Definition:

Fine, with 75% of the faded original blue finish, showing some dings on the front strap and frame, mild pitting on the muzzle and side plate, bright edge wear, scattered spotting and handling marks, and areas of brown and gray patina. Over half of the refurbished straw finish is present, with the remainder worn bright or fading to gray. The grips are very good, with a small chip absent from the right panel, mild dings and a small amount of verdigris buildup. The holster is good, with some cracking and scuffing on the well worn, supple leather. Mechanically excellent.
