Description:

Produced pre-World War II, with less than 5,000 believed to have been made, and this pistol representing one of the earliest to come off the production line. The main distinguishing feature of the contract is the Columns of Gediminas, a very old symbol of Lithuania which was commonly seen on the nation's military hardware of the era in question, being stamped prominently on top of the slide, the recoil lug of the matching numbered barrel, hammer, one of the magazines and on both sides of the frame beneath the grip. Other markings and features are in-line with pre-war standards, with a tangent rear sight, slotted back strap, 3-line slide address, Liege proofs and checkered grips. Included with the pistol is a black leather Nazi holster marked "ftc/1942/WaA182" (Frost and Jahnel, Breslau (modern day Wroclaw, Poland)) on the lower flap, an unmarked standard size extra magazine, and two extended extra magazines, one 6 inches in length and marked "GP35 Cal. 9MM", the other 9 3/4 inches and unmarked.

Rating Definition:

Very fine, with 85% of the original blue finish, showing bright gray wear on the front strap and the underside of the slide, mild rubbing on the high edges and along the slide, and minor spotting and handling marks overall. The grips are fine, with a few minor dings. The holster is very good, with some scuffing and cracking of the otherwise supple leather, and the magazines appear to be in good order, though not function tested. Mechanically excellent.
