Manufactured in December of 1934 (Showa 9.12). Fixed sights, with a knurled and ribbed cocking knob, standard markings, straw finished small parts, ribbed grips and a "*/422" marked nickel finished magazine. Matching numbers are present on the bolt, cocking knob, barrel, trigger and magazine. Included with the pistol is an extra blue finished magazine, metal cleaning rod and a 1940-era brown leather clamshell holster with solid leather strap and a firing pin pouch.

Very fine, with 85% plus of the original blue finish, showing scattered spotting, a few small areas of pitting, mild edge wear and light handling marks. The left rear cocking knob rib is bent slightly. The grips are also very fine, with some chips around the magazine catch. The holster is fair, with an internal divider absent, some scuffs and loose stitching. Mechanically functions, but striker spring is weak.

Manufactured in April of 1944 (Showa 19.4), with fixed sights, knurled cocking knob, full blue finish and serrated grips. Numbers match on the frame, trigger, bolt, cocking knob, grips and magazine (with punch dot).

Excellent, with 98% plus of the original blue finish, showing some light edge wear and handling marks overall. The grips are also excellent, with a few light chips and dings. Mechanically excellent.
