Hooded blade and tangent sights, with an "eso" and "2288" marked ZF-41/1 scope secured with a "duv" (Berlin-Lubecker) mount on an "eagle/ 135" proofed base, fitted with a set of front and rear sunshields that appear to have originally been standard issue steel shields custom fitted with blackened brass extensions, possibly an in-field modification, which makes the compact scope look like a much larger model. The barrel is marked "3R", with a "byf/43" and "Mod.98" marked receiver, "eagle/135" proofs in the appropriate places. Matching numbers on the metal components, with a stamped front band and other components milled. Smooth stock, with a brown leather sling and a cupped "gqm/43" buttplate.

Very good, showing 60% of the original blue finish, with a brown patina forming around the muzzle and bolt, bright wear along the high edges, a scratch on the floorplate, and mild spotting and handling marks overall. The stock is good as refinished, with some mild dings and scuffs. The scope is fair, with some debris visible inside the body and mild wear around the edges of the lenses, though the optics and reticle are generally good, Mechanically excellent. Note: this lot does not come with the previously identified scope case.
