Description:

Fixed sights, with "1916" on top of the chamber, "DWM" on the toggle and three "crown/script letter" proofs next to the Imperial Eagle proof on the right side of the barrel extension. The firing proof is repeated on the barrel and breechblock, and all external numbers match, including both of the wood base nickel finished magazines. Fitted with straw colored small parts, niter blue springs and pins, and a matching numbered pair of checkered walnut grips. With a brown leather holster marked "WILH.SCHMIDT/HANNOVER/1916" on the front with an unmarked takedown/loading tool.

Rating Definition:

Very fine, with 90% plus of the original blue finish, showing some bright edge wear, scattered light spotting and handling marks, and a few traces of a brown patina on the extension. Bright color is visible on over 70% of the small parts, with some smooth wear on the trigger face and high points. The takedown lever is renumbered to match pistol as are both magazines. The grips are very good, with a few dings and flat spots. The holster is good, with some light scuffing, scratches and cracks. Mechanically excellent.
