Fitted with a German silver beaded blade front sight on a serrated ramp and a two leaf (one standing, one folding) express style rear notch sight. The barrel is marked with both British and Austrian commercial proofs including the "NOT ENGLISH MAKE" stamp. The action features a blue butter knife style bolt handle, Mauser style wing safety, and is fitted with a left side mounted scope base. Mounted on a checkered sporting style pistol grip stock with sling swivels, horn grip cap, and a serrated steel grip buttplate with cartridge trap. The upper tang is fitted with a spring loaded flip up rear peep sight. The trap contains four cleaning rod segments and a bore swab.

Fine with 85% of the original blue finish. Displaying areas of mild edge wear, scattered pin point spotting, and handling marks throughout. The wood is good as revarnished with numerous handling marks throughout, scattered scuffs and small shallow scratches, and edge wear on the high points. The buttplate has a mostly dark patina with some spotty oxidation. Mechanically excellent.
