Late production Turkish contract pistol shipped from FN to Turkey in 1926. The pistol features fixed blade and notch sights, standard Belgian proofs and FN slide markings, checkered hard rubber "FN" monogram grips, and a lanyard loop at the left side of the butt. The right side of the slide is factory roll stamped with "AUTHORITY" in Turkish, and the top of the slide is marked with the crest of the Turkish Republic. The "1922" date is part of the crest itself and is most likely a reference to the year the sultanate was abolished. Includes an unmarked Turkish pattern holster with shoulder strap and a double magazine pouch.

Good as refinished with 60% of the arsenal applied dip blue finish. Displaying mild scattered pitting, small dings, handling marks, and light edge wear. The markings are very clear. The grips are fair with handling marks and evidence of recut checkering. Mechanically fine. The holster is fair with surface cracking and peeling, scuffs, generally tight stitching, and handling marks.
