Description:

Manufactured around 1931 and exported to the United States for commercial sales. Fixed sights, a blank chamber, the DWM monogram on the front toggle link, "crown/N" proofs on the barrel, extension and breechblock; "GERMANY" on the frame and matching commercial-style serial numbers on the exterior. The trigger, safety lever, takedown lever, magazine catch, and ejector are finished in a golden straw color, and the springs, pins and screws are niter blue. The grips are checkered, and the nickel finished magazine is marked "MADE IN GERMANY" and "7,65" on the alloy base.

Rating Definition:

Excellent with 98% plus of the original blue finish showing some bright edge wear and minor handling marks overall and a few areas of brown patina. The refurbished straw finish is showing a deep, golden brown color on over 95% of the small parts, and the niter blue is strong and bright. A few dings and flat spots are visible on the otherwise excellent grips which show a few dark stains. Mechanically excellent.
