The chamber is dated "1937," and the toggle is marked "S/42". Drop wing eagle/63 and firing proofs are stamped on the right barrel extension and barrel. Matching serial number on front of frame (with v suffix), left barrel extension, and barrel underside, with the partial serial number (66) on the takedown latch, side plate, sear, safety bar, thumb safety lever, extractor, toggle, and toggle link. Safety and extractor are marked "GESICHERT" and "GELADEN" respectively, and the underside of the barrel has the bore marking. All blue finish with checkered walnut grips and mismatched blued magazine with aluminum base (5166n).

Excellent. The pistol retains 97% original blue finish showing some thinning to a brown (more prevalent on the grip straps) and extensive muzzle wear. The grips are very fine with some minor nicks in the overall crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent.
