Description:

The revolver features standard fixed round blade front and frame notch rear sights, "UNITED STATES PROPERTY" marking on the underside of the barrel, matching assembly numbers on the frame and yoke, "eagle head/S23" and "eagle head/S6" inspection marks on the frame, and a "flaming bomb" ordnance mark on the left side of the frame just forward of the hammer. The butt is correctly marked "U.S./ARMY/MODEL/1917" with a lanyard swivel and the serial number. Includes a leather "U.S." marked G&K holster with leg tie dated "1918".

Rating Definition:

Excellent with 90% plus of the original blue finish. Displaying areas of mild to moderate edge wear, scattered small dings, and general handling marks. The grips are very fine with handling marks and a few small indentations. Mechanically excellent. The holster is very good with handling marks, clear markings, and a few light scattered scuffs.
