Manufactured in 1944, with blade and flat top notch sights, the two-line, two-block address/patent marking with the Rampant Colt in the center on the left side of the slide and "P" on top, "G.H.D." inspected frame, "P/VP" trigger guard, stamped trigger, wide hammer, serrated arched mainspring housing, reinforced Colt grips, full blue "S" magazine, and a "COLT 45 AUTO" marked barrel.

Excellent, with 95% plus of the original parkerized finish, showing bright edge wear and scattered mild handling marks. The grips are also excellent, with a few light dings on the otherwise crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent.
