Manufactured in 1943. The pistol features standard blade front and flat top notch rear sights on the slide with the third style two-line Remington-Rand address, and a small "P" proof on top of the slide just forward of the rear sight. Fitted with a checkered thumb safety, a serrated slide catch, checkered stamped short trigger, checkered magazine release, and a serrated mainspring housing with lanyard loop on the butt. The barrel is marked "HS" on the right side of the lug with a single "P" on the left. The right side of the frame has standard U.S. Property markings with "Z" and "D" inspection marks on the trigger guard, and a faint crossed cannons cartouche at the rear of the frame. The left side is marked with the "FJA" final inspection mark a small "P" mark behind the magazine catch, and a "6" on the trigger guard. Fitted with a set of Keyes fiber grips with rings around the screw holes, and reinforcing ribs.

Excellent with 98% gray/green parkerized finish. Displaying small handling marks, small surface scratches, takedown mark on the left side of the frame, and clear markings. The grips are also excellent with small handling marks. Mechanically excellent.
