Manufactured in 1918. Fixed sights, with the two-block address/patent markings and Rampant Colt on the left side of the slide and "MODEL OF 1911. U.S. ARMY" on the right. "eagle head/S11" inspected frame, with the serial number on the right and "UNITED STATES PROPERTY" on the left. Fitted with a long smooth trigger, round top rear sight, checkered wide hammer, checkered slide stop and thumb safety, short grip safety, checkered diamond flat grips, unmarked two-tone magazine with a pinned lanyard base magazine and a "P/H" marked barrel.

Very fine as arsenal refurbished, showing 95% plus of the "brush" blue, with some bright edge wear, mild spotting and light handling marks. The grips are very good, with some light chips and dings. Mechanically excellent.
