Manufactured in 1944. Fixed sights, with the Syracuse address and "P" on the side, "FJA" inspection mark on the frame, and "7" and "&/0" on the trigger guard. Fitted with a flat-top rear sight, checkered stamped hammer and thumb safety, long grip safety, serrated slide catch and mainspring housing, full-blue magazine marked "L" on the toe, reinforced Keyes-Fiber grips, and a High Standard barrel.

Very fine, with 85% plus of the original parkerized finish, showing a patch of gray patina on the right side of the slide and frame, bright wear along the high edges and bearing surfaces, and mild handling marks overall. Around half of the blue finish is present on the barrel, showing typical cycling wear. The grips are very fine, with a few small flat spots on the sharp checkering. Mechanically excellent.
