Manufactured by the short lived German firm of Sommer + Ockenfuss, it is estimated that less than 100 were actually manufactured for world wide sales. The unique design combines the overall short length of a current bullpup rifle with light weight aluminum alloy receiver, and a slide action system. The rifle is cocked by pulling the grip handle rearward allowing the compact 6 lug bolt to catch a round from the magazine. The handle is then moved forward and locked into position. The Wilderness rifle was designed to appeal primarily to the German hunting market with its ease of operation, contoured Schnabel style textured forearm and lightweight stainless steel barrel, with a threaded muzzle and no muzzle break. The milled aluminum receiver features a top mounted 10 3/4 inch Picatinny rail for sight mounting. Sling swivels are fitted to the forearm and buttstock. Fitted with a solid rubber recoil pad. The box is numbered to the gun and includes papers and small tools. The rifle is consecutively numbered to the previous lot.

Near new in box with minimal light handling marks overall. Mechanically excellent. The box is very good with handling and storage marks.
