The consignor's notes indicate that Sterling Davenport performed the work on this rifle. This rifle features a hooded ramped beaded blade and one leaf flip up express style sights. The barrel is also equipped with a barrel band with a sling swivel eyelet. The receiver is drilled and tapped for scope mounting with scope bases and rings. The right side of the receiver ring is proofmarked, with the left side receiver wall marked "MAUSER-WERKE A.G. OBERNDORF A/N". The barrel is marked "404 Rimless" on the right side near the breech. Mounted on a nicely figured, multi-point checkered walnut pistol grip stock with a smooth steel grip cap, raised cheekpiece, sling swivel stud, and a solid rubber recoil pad.

Excellent as professionally custom. The rifle retains 99% of the blue finish with only slight handling marks. The proofmarks are somewhat faded. The stock is excellent with crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent.
