Manufactured between 1969 and 1973. Fitted with a ramped beaded blade front and three leaf (one standing, two folding) rear notch sights with silver highlighted sighting lines. The top of the barrel has been inscribed "John Rigby & Co. 13 Pall Mall, London. S.M. 1". The barrel and receiver are stamped with standard British commercial proofs. The receiver is fitted with a side mounted Griffin & Howe quick release scope base and a Zeiss DIAVARI-C 3-9x36 scope. The action features a wide adjustable trigger, wing type safety, and a secondary safety. The floorplate is inscribed "RIGBY/30-06" in fancy script with gold inlay. Mounted on a multi-point checkered pistol grip stock with hard rubber forend and grip caps, sling swivel mounted under the barrel, sling swivel stud on the bottom of the buttstock, and a solid rubber Pachmayr Old English recoil pad.

Very good as professionally built and refinished by John Rigby & Co. 95% of the current blue finish remains with areas of color variance along the length of the barrel and on the action, small handling marks, and clear visible proofs. The refinished wood is very good with some scattered indentations, sharp checkering, small handling marks, and attractive grain. Mechanically excellent. Broken rear sling swivel assembly. The optics are very clear.
