Manufactured in 1955. Hooded ramp front sight and adjustable folding leaf rear sights with the receiver tapped for scope/sight mounting. Standard Winchester markings including the factory proof on the barrel and receiver at the breech and "-SUPER GRADE-" on the floor plate. Straight receiver tang, late type safety, jeweled bolt and follower with bolt numbered to the gun and Super Grade quick release sling swivels. Mounted with a checkered high comb pistol grip stock with ebony forend tip, metal grip cap, cheekpiece and checkered steel buttplate. Formerly of the Peter and Patty Murray Collection.

Excellent. The rifle retains 99% plus original blue finish showing the slightest handling marks. The wood is also excellent with a few minor handling marks. The checkering is crisp overall. Mechanically excellent. Provenance: Robert M. Lee Collection.
