Only six hundred of these were made. It is engraved on the right side "White Tail Deer" above the slide track with a photo etched scene of three deer in a mountain meadow with additional engraving and "347 Of Six Hundred" on a band below the scene. There is a raised gold buck head at the rear of the scene. The engraver, R. Capece, signed this on the rock under the running deer. The left side is titled "Mule Deer" on top and has a photo etched scene of two bucks and a doe in a mountain scene, "One Of Six Hundred" on a banner across the bottom and a head on buck head in gold. Signed "E. VOS" near the front of the left scene. The signature has been struck twice. Deluxe walnut stock has the checkering edged with a border of stamped dots with carved leaves at the front of the forearm and the base of the grip. The sling eyes have been finished to match the action. Includes a factory fitted display case with a fitted red velvet interior.

Excellent with 99% plus original finish remaining showing only light handling marks. The wood is also excellent with only light handling marks and attractive grain. Mechanically excellent. The case is very good with storage, handling marks, and scratches on the exterior and some light staining on the lining.
