The barrel and receiver feature standard markings, Belgian proofs and light floral scroll engraving with the word "SAFARI" in the center of each side of the receiver. The receiver is fitted with swivel style scope bases, rings, and a Tasco 3-9x40 scope. Mounted on a multi-point checkered forearm and pistol grip stock with sling swivel studs and a solid rubber Browning recoil pad

Excellent with 95% plus original blue finish. Displaying some scattered light scratches, handling marks, and light edge wear. The wood is very good with scattered small scratches and indentations, handling marks, and a larger scuff on the bottom of the buttstock. Mechanically excellent. The optics are very clear.

Manufactured in 1898 without sights on the barrel. The barrel is drilled and tapped for sight mounting with filler screws in place. The barrel and receiver have standard markings and Belgian proofs. The receiver is mounted with a one piece Leupold swivel style scope base, rings and a Nikon Prostaff 3-9x40 scope. Mounted on a multi-point checkered forearm and pistol grip stock with sling swivel studs, and a plastic Browning buttplate.
