Manufactured in 1937 with fixed sights, the two-line address and patent dates on the left side of the slide, the caliber markings on the right, matching serial number stamped around the firing pin hole, a short milled trigger, and an arched checkered mainspring housing. The left side of the trigger guard is stamped "T/VP", and "38" is on the right. The front grip strap has been non-factory fitted with a blue checkered sheet metal grip adaptor. Fitted with smooth mother of pearl grips. Includes a hardwood case fitted to the gun with a key, instruction manual, and a set of checkered walnut grips numbered to the gun on the back of each panel. Also includes a period target that has been renumbered to match the gun.

Excellent. 97% plus original blue finish remains with some light handling marks and traces on edge wear. The non-factory replacement pearl grips are very fine with minimal handling marks. Mechanically excellent. The case is excellent
