Manufactured in 1981 and has the standard markings and features. Fitted with black checkered plastic Rampant Colt/Federal Eagle grips. According to Don Wilkerson's "The Post-War Colt Single-Action Revolver, 1976-1986," this revolver is one of 3,917 estimated to be manufactured in the P-1770 model configuration, and of the total production, approximately 474 P-1770 revolvers were assembled in the "SA" suffix serial number range. Complete with a Colt factory "wood grain" box numbered to the gun and manual.

Near new with only slight handling marks. The box is fair with scuff marks, corner and edge wear, and end label box flap separated and secured with tape. Mechanically excellent.
