Manufactured in 1979. The revolvers were returned to the Colt Custom Shop in 1985 where they received Type "D" Journeyman engraving and a nickel finish. The revolvers have the standard markings with a full coverage floral scroll engraving over 95% of the surface. The left side of the trigger guard is stamped with the "VP" in a triangle proofmark at the front and a "K" at the rear. Fitted with a set of black checkered plastic Rampant Colt/Federal Eagle grips. Complete with a Colt factory "wood grain" box with Colt Custom Shop label numbered to the gun and a Colt repair order.

Near new as later factory engraved. The revolver retains all of the nickel with only slight handling marks. The grips are excellent with crisp checkering. The box is very fine with slight scuff marks, corner and edge wear, and the end label partially separated. Mechanically excellent.
