This revolver was manufactured near the middle of the 1898 to 1907 production period and has attractive period, possibly factory engraving on half of the metal surfaces. It also has the standard markings and features of the model. The serial numbers match on the latch, cylinder, butt, and right grip panel, but the barrel which is marked "1985" and "59 B." It comes is in a custom, later production French fitted bound case with a 21 round cartridge block.

Rating Definition:

Fine as replated. Half of the slightly dulling nickel plating remains, and the trigger guard and latch retain 80% plus of the original blue finish. The trigger has lightly faded original case colors. The is some light spotting concentrated on the cylinder. The grips are also fine and have mild handling and storage wear. The action functions very well, and the markings and engraving are crisp. The case is very good with minor marks and scratches from storage.
