The Model 62 series was the descendant of the John Browning designed Model 1890 and 1906 and was manufactured from 1932 through 1958. Like its predecessors, it proved very popular and over 400,000 were produced. This example falls late in the production run around 1957 and has the standard post-war gallery variation markings and features, including long forearm, .22 Short chamber, and the triangular loading port cut. The box contains a manual, and a factory hang tag is still fitted to the trigger guard. No serial number is visible on the end label, but the matching serial number is marked in pencil on the top of the lid.

Near new in box. The rifle appears to have never been assembled or fired since leaving the factory. There are only some light storage marks. The box is good but has some tearing on one side and a worn and flaked end label.
