Description:

This is a desirable variation of the classic Model 61. Winchester only manufactured .22 WMR Model 61s for three years, and they are highly sought after. This example was manufactured in 1963 and has a beaded blade front sight, flat top elevation adjustable sporting rear sight, 17 groove forearm, and smooth pistol grip stock with hard rubber buttplate. The markings are standard for the period.

Rating Definition:

Excellent. 95% plus of the original blue finish remains. The only loss is from operating the action and some edge wear. There is some scattered light oxidation visible at the edges of the receiver on the right side and a few scattered light marks. The wood is also excellent and has some very light surface scratches. The action functions fine, and the markings are crisp.
