Manufactured in 1954. Fitted with a ramped Lyman bead on blade front sight with provisions for a hood and a receiver mounted fully adjustable rear peep sight. The barrel and receiver have standard maker, patent, and caliber markings. The top of the barrel is marked with the Winchester oval "P" proofmark. Mounted on a highly figured walnut, multi-point checkered pistol grip stock with piano finish, quick release sling swivels, contrasting end cap, hard rubber Winchester grip cap, and a checkered steel buttplate. The trigger is adjustable for both pull and over travel.

Very fine as non-factory assembled using an original Winchester sporter barrel, that retains 95% of the blue finish. The steel buttplate is mostly a brown patina. Displaying light handling marks overall. The wood is fine with handling marks, small dings, and small blemishes in the buttstock area. Mechanically excellent.
