Fitted with a ramped German silver blade front and two leaf (one standing, one folding) leaf rear sights. The barrel and receiver feature standard British commercial proofs, and a caliber marking of "375 EX". The top of the receiver is matted and stamped "PATENT/Mannlicher/Schoenauer/M.1910" and the Steyr address is on the left side receiver rail. Fitted with a smooth casehardened trigger and standard Mauser style wing safety. Mounted on a multi-point checkered pistol grip stock with a flip up rear peep sight, sling swivels, and a small brass plaque at the forend reading "J. VENABLES & SON/GUNMAKERS/OXFORD". The buttstock features a raised cheekpiece and serrated steel buttplate with trap. Includes a canvas covered takedown case marked "C.S. WARD" on the lid with a Venables retail label on the inside of the lid. The case includes a wood cleaning rod, leather muzzle cover, gun grease, and a key.

Very fine with 95% plus original blue finish. Displaying mostly light handling marks and traces of edge wear and light spotting. The wood is very fine with small handling marks, a few small indentations, and chip at the left rear of the magazine area. The case is fine with some loose internal dividers, mild discoloration and staining throughout, and scuffs on the leather components.
