The barrel is marked with standard commercial proofs. The action cover features light scroll engraving at the edges and is inscribed "ARMY & NAVY CO-OPERATIVE SOCIETY LIM". The stock socket is marked "LEE-SPEED/PATENTS/B.S.A & M. Co/10275." The action features a magazine cutoff, serrated trigger and detachable 5 round box magazine. Mounted on a multi-point checkered pistol grip stock with a horn forend cap, sling swivel eyes, horn grip cap, silver initial oval, small plaque reading "303" and a lightly engraved smooth buttplate with trap.

Fine as retailer refinished with 60% of the blue finish. Displaying areas of high point and edge wear, light cleaned pitting, handling marks, oxidation, and traces of a lacquer or varnish. The wood is fine with well defined checkering, handling marks, a 2 inch hairline crack in the forend just forward of the socket, and some rough oxidation on the buttplate. Mechanically fine.
