Blade front and notch rear sights on matte rib with mounting lug near the breech. The right barrel is marked "P. WEHLTE" and the left "LAVEAN", and each is Nitro proofed at the chamber. Engraved receiver with a buck scene on the left, a doe on the right, and punch-dot backed scroll and floral work on the rest of the surface. Checkered pistol grip stock with a Schnabel tip forearm, sling swivels, horn grip cap and basket-weave pattern butt.

Very good as period refurbished, with 95% finish, showing areas of a mixed gray patina, along with some mild pitting on the barrel and handling marks overall. The stock is recheckered, with an expertly replaced section of wood in the wrist and some light pressure dents. The action is excellent.
