This Colt MK IV Series 70 Government Model pistol was beautifully engraved by Master Engraver David Harris. The included David Harris letter confirms that the pistol was engraved by Harris with a near full coverage of an America scroll engraving and finished in nickel. Harris signed the pistol on the trigger guard. The pistol retains the factory markings. The barrel has the Mk IV Series 70/caliber markings. Cross hatching is engraved on top of the slide behind the rear sight, on the front of the trigger guard, on the slide catch, on the thumb safety, on the rear of the back strap at the top and on the grip safety. The main spring house and front strap are fully engraved with scrollwork. The pistol is fitted with fixed sights and plastic grips featuring nickel inlaid Rampant Colts in the center.

Very fine as professionally embellished by Master Engraver David Harris. The pistol retains 98% plus of the nickel finish showing the slightest handling marks. The grips are fine showing the slightest handling marks. Mechanically excellent.
