Manufactured in 1927. This is an excellent example of a Colt Army Special revolver with standard fixed round blade front and frame notch rear sights, two-line address and patent dates on top of the barrel, and "COLT ARMY/SPECIAL .32-20 W.C.F." on the left side. The left side of the frame is stamped with standard Colt factory inspection marks and the "VP" proof on the trigger guard. Smooth blue trigger, finely knurled hammer, and smooth grip straps. The grips are checkered with "COLT" in an oval at the top and a stylized "C" at the screws. Includes a Colt maroon two-piece box numbered to the gun and papers.
