Description:

Manufactured in 1898. The revolver features round blade front and frame notch rear sights, standard two-line address/patent dates on top of the barrel, caliber designation on the left side of the barrel, matching "309" assembly number on the cylinder catch, frame, and yoke, and nitre blue hammer and trigger. The butt is marked with the serial number. Fitted with checkered grips with the Rampant Colt at the top.

Rating Definition:

Very fine with 80% of the bright original high polish blue finish. Displaying clear markings, mild edge wear, handling marks, a few small scuffs and traces of light spotting. The hammer and trigger retain most of the original fiery nitre blue finish and the grip straps have aged to a mottled gray/brown patina. The grips are excellent with handling marks and a few small dings. Mechanically excellent.
