Manufactured in 1928. Single steel bead sight on the concave matte rib marked "PARKER BROTHERS. MAKERS. MERIDEN. CT. VULCAN STEEL" with 2 9/16 inch chambers, single extractor, and improved modified/full chokes. The casehardened receiver is inscribed "PARKER BROS." on the right and left sides with zig-zag border engraving, standard one-line patent marking on the right side of the water table, and "V/216477/VH" on the left. Fitted with dual triggers and automatic thumb safety. Mounted on a multi-point checkered splinter forearm and pistol grip stock with a hard rubber grip cap and checkered Parker Brothers "dogs head" hard rubber buttplate. Barrel and stock measurements are: bore diameter at 9 inches from breech .732/.731 inches; wall thickness at 9 inches from breech .054 inches; drop at comb 1 1/2 inches; drop at heel 2 3/4 inches; length of pull 14 1/8 inches.

Very good. The barrels have 95% plus original blue finish with some light surface spotting, scattered small dings, and light surface scratches. The casehardened receiver has aged to a mostly brown/gray patina with traces of muted original colors on the sides, and stronger colors visible on the underside and under the break lever. The trigger guard and tang have taken on a mottled gray/brown patina. The wood is very good with well defined checkering, small handling marks, and some light surface scratches around the wrist. Mechanically excellent.
