Manufactured in 1900. The included Parker Collectors Association letter confirms the serial number, barrel length, original stock dimensions, and shipment to S.R. Buford and Company of Virginia City, Montana, on October 16, 1900. Single bead sight on a concave solid rib marked "PARKER BROS MARKERS. MERIDEN CONN. DAMASCUS STEEL". 2 9/16 inch chambers, choked improved modified/full, and an extractor. The barrel, water table and lower tang have matching serial numbers. The water table has the 1887 and 1889 patent dates with "3" over the serial number over "D". The casehardened action features scroll engraving with a dog and "PARKER BROS" in a banner on each side and four game birds on the underside. The scrollwork extends to the break lever and trigger guard. Double triggers and tang mounted automatic safety. The forearm is numbered to the barrels and has engraved hardware. Multi-point checkered splinter forearm and pistol grip stock with hard rubber grip cap, blank initial oval, and skeletonized steel buttplate. Barrel and stock measurements are: bore diameter at 9 inches from breech .731/.732 inches; wall thickness at 9 inches from breech .0595/.059 inches; drop at comb 2 1/4 inches; drop at heel 3 1/4 inches; length of pull 14 inches.

Very fine. The barrels display a mostly even, smooth gray patina with visible Damascus patterning, clear markings, small handling marks, and mild edge wear at the muzzle. The frame has aged to a mostly silver/gray patina with well defined engraving, clear markings, and traces of light spotting. The freshened wood is very fine with sharp checkering, rich color, small handling marks, and some minor dings. Mechanically excellent.
