Manufactured in 1914. With single steel bead sight on a solid concave matte rib. The top of the rib is marked "PARKER BROS.MAKERS.MERIDEN. CONN. TITANIC STEEL". The barrels are choked improved modified/full with 2 9/16 inch chambers and auto ejectors. The left barrel has been inscribed "ELLSWORTH MOSER". The receiver is engraved with dogs on point in a field scene on both the left and right sides with the Parker Brothers banner. The underside is engraved with four ducks. The rest of the action is engraved with a tight swirling scroll pattern. The trigger guard, fences, and break lever are similarly engraved. Fitted with dual triggers and an automatic thumb safety. Mounted on a multi-point checkered splinter forearm with engraved hardware and pistol grip stock with tear drop flats, Parker Brothers hard rubber grip cap, blank silver initial oval, and an engraved skeleton buttplate over a checkered bare butt. Barrel and stock measurements are: bore diameter at 9 inches from breech .737/.736 inches; wall thickness at 9 inches from breech .0565/.057 inches; 1 7/8 inch drop at comb; 3 inch drop at heel; 0 cast; 0 toe; 14 1/8 inch length of pull.

Very fine as partially refinished. The barrels have 95% plus blue finish remaining with crisp markings, small handling marks, and light muzzle wear. The casehardened receiver has original muted case colors in the more protected areas with the balance aged to a smooth silver/gray patina with fine detailed engraving and light handling marks. The refinished wood is very fine with some scattered small indentations, attractive grain, well defined checkering, and rich color. Mechanically excellent.
