Manufactured in 1910. Single bead sight on a concave solid rib marked "PARKER BROS MARKERS. MERIDEN CONN. DAMASCUS STEEL". 2 3/4 inch chambers, choked improved modified/full, and an extractor. The barrel, water table and lower tang have matching serial numbers. The water table has the 1887 and 1889 patent dates with "3" over the serial number over "D". The casehardened action features scroll engraving with a dog and "PARKER BROS" in a banner on each side and four game birds on the underside. The scrollwork extends to the break lever and trigger guard. Double triggers and tang mounted automatic safety. The forearm is numbered to the barrels with engraved hardware. Multi-point checkered forearm and pistol grip stock with hard rubber grip cap, blank initial oval, and skeletonized steel buttplate. Barrel and stock measurements are: bore diameter at 9 inches from breech .735/.731 inches; wall thickness at 9 inches from breech .0475/.0495 inches; drop at comb 1 7/8 inches; drop at heel 3 inches; length of pull 14 inches.

Fair with an overall gray patina on the barrels, areas of pitting throughout the length, clear rib markings, and handling marks. The receiver has a mostly cleaned gray patina with some areas of a mottled brown, clear engraving, good water table markings, and spotting. The wood is fine as refreshed with attractive grain, sharp checkering, cleaned light pitting on the buttplate, and small dings throughout. Mechanically very good.
