Manufactured in 1916. Features a single steel bead sight on the concave matte solid rib marked "PARKER BROS. MAKERS, MERIDEN, CONN. VULCAN STEEL" flanked by inward pointing arrows. 2 1/2 inch chambers, choked improved modified/full with ejectors. With the matching serial number on the left side of the barrel lug. The water table is marked with the three-line Parker 1905 patent date marking on the right side and "VH/172432/V" on the left. The action and trigger guard are lightly engraved with a zigzag border and "PARKER BROS" on both sides. Dual triggers, tang mounted manual safety, blue barrels and trigger guard, casehardened remaining parts and mounted with a multi-point checkered splinter forearm and pistol grip stock with a vented Hawkins rubber recoil pad and silver initial shield. Includes a leather bound takedown case with a burgundy cloth interior, two snap caps, and keys. Barrel and stock measurements are: bore diameter at 9 inches from breech .617/.617 inches; wall thickness at 9 inches from breech .0415/.0415 inches; drop at comb 1 5/8 inches; drop at heel 3 inches; length of pull 14 1/4 inches.

Very good as partially refinished (wood). The barrels have 75% of the original blue finish with some areas aging to a light gray patina, small dings, light surface scratches, and minor edge wear. The frame has 55% of the original muted case colors with areas of mottled gray/brown patina, handling marks, and some light spotting. The wood is very good as lightly sanded and varnished with sharp re-cut checkering, added recoil pad, and small handling marks. Mechanically excellent. The case is very good with small handling and storage marks on the exterior.
