The Deluxe Model was developed to introduce the revolutionary .250-3000 cartridge and was the first 1899 to incorporate the most popular special order features available in earlier years, as discussed in "The Ninety-Nine" by Murray pg. 3-29. Manufactured in 1915, this carbine features a fixed beaded blade front sight, Marble's filler block in the rear sight dovetail, adjustable Marbles peep sight mounted to the top of the receiver, cartridge counter, casehardened lever, checkered Schnabel tip forearm, checkered pistol grip stock, cross-checkered trigger, and a corrugated steel buttplate. The forearm and buttstock are correctly numbered to the gun.

Excellent with 97% plus original finish. Displaying some light edge wear, handling marks, 98% vivid original case colors of the lever, and a few small surface scratches. The wood is also excellent with some slight blemishes and handling marks on the buttstock, and sharp checkering. Mechanically excellent.
