Manufactured in 1979 for Colt by J.P. Sauer & Son of West Germany. This rifle features a barrel manufactured without sights. The receiver is fitted with Redfield swivel style scope bases, rings, and a Leupold VARI-X III 3.5-10x scope. Has a detachable box magazine and tang mounted safety. Mounted on a nicely figured checkered high comb pistol grip English walnut stock with a contrasting wood grip cap, raised cheekpiece, sling swivel studs and a vented Colt Sauer recoil pad. The grip cap features an inset acrylic Rampant Colt medallion. Includes extra magazine.

Excellent with 95% plus original blue finish. Displaying some handling marks, light muzzle wear, and a small ding at the muzzle. The wood is excellent with sharp checkering and light handling marks. Mechanically excellent. The optics are clear.
