Manufactured in 1966, with a proper arrangement of early AR-15/M16 features. Bird cage flash hider and a bayonet lug on the "12" marked barrel, with an elevation adjustable post front sight on the gas port assembly and a 2-leaf windage adjustable rear sight. The AR-15 nomenclature and Rampant Colt logo are present on the lower receiver, and the upper receiver is properly without a casing deflector or forward assist. The bolt carrier is properly devoid of serrations for the assist with a two-piece recoil buffer. Fitted with a vented triangular handguard, checkered pistol grip and a fixed buttstock with a rubber buttplate and no storage compartment. Fitted with a black canvas web sling and a 10 round magazine.

Very good 90% plus original gray phosphate finish remains with small handling marks throughout and some scattered surface scratches. The grip and buttstock are very good with handling marks and some broken diamond tops in the checkering. Mechanically excellent.
