This is a very rare pre-ban FNC as manufactured by FN-Herstal. Introduced in 1979, with very few imported to the United States. Adjustable post front and two leaf peep rear sights, with an integral rifle grenade launcher and flip-up grenade sight, ventilated and ribbed metal/plastic forearm, smooth pistol grip with storage compartment (lid absent) and a tubular steel folding buttstock. The lower receiver has a two-position "S/1" selector, and the upper is marked for Steyr of Secaucus, New Jersey and Gun South Incorporated of Birmingham, Alabama. Includes one 30 round magazine.

Excellent, with 98% of the original matte black finish, showing some minor handling marks overall. The furniture is in equal condition, with some fading of the color on the pistol grip and mild spotting on the stock frame. Mechanically excellent.
