This revolver was built with the black powder style frame, bulls-eye ejector, and smooth grips with Colt medallions in 1984. No revolvers in this configuration are listed in Wilkerson's discussion of the black powder framed revolvers in "The Post-War Colt Single-Action Revolver, 1976-1986" confirming this is a very rare configuration. It comes in a factory blue box fitted to the gun with a white outer box.

Very fine. The revolver retains 98% plus of the original, highly polished nickel finish and has only some light handling and storage marks, flash marks, and thin cylinder drag lines. The grips are near new with only slight handling and storage marks. The action functions excellently. The boxes are very good with minor storage wear.
