Both of the revolvers in this set have type B engraving and are inlaid with golden Rampant Colts on the left side of the barrels and bands at the muzzles. The engraving is based on the late percussion era vine patterns of Gustave Young, and the hammers have Young style wolf motifs. The other markings and features on the revolvers are standard. The grip straps have assembly markings and "COLT ENG." The matching factory "wood grain" boxes confirm the engraving and inlays and note that the revolvers were Custom Shop orders 1621 and 1622. They were both manufactured in 1978. They come in a hardwood case French fitted to both guns with deep red velvet lining and a Colt Custom Shop medallion on the lower right corner of the lid.

Near new with light handling and storage marks and some mild aged patina forming on the brass. The box is fine with moderate storage wear and tape. The case is very good and has a few minor scratches and dings from handling and storage.
