This revolver was designed to commemorate the first Hartford manufactured Colt revolvers. Features blade and hammer notch sights, casehardened frame, hammer, and loading lever. Fancy nickel highlighted scroll engraving with "1848 - WHITNEYVILLE HARTFORD SESQUICENTENNIAL - 1998" in banners on the right and left sides, portraits of Samuel Colt and Eli Whitney Jr. on the left and right sides of the barrel lug, and a nickel accented Texas Rangers/Indian fight scene on the cylinder. The smooth one piece grip features inset nickel accents. The trigger guard is numbered "100 of 100". Includes a hardwood display case with a red velvet interior and bottom drawer with papers. A copy of the book "Colt Blackpowder Reproductions & Replicas" by Dennis Adler. The book is signed by the author and numbered "100 of 100" to match the gun.

Excellent with 99% original finish, with some light handling marks overall. Mechanically excellent. The case is very good with handling and storage marks as well as a missing handle on the drawer. The book is excellent.
