Manufactured in 1964. 1 of 50 that came from a special drawing, by a non-Colt employee, held on April 9th, 1965. This revolver features a nickel plated ejector rod, cylinder pin, cylinder pin screw, cylinder, trigger guard and grip straps. The cylinder is roll engraved with symbols related to the Colt company and is marked "COL. SAM L COLT/1814-1964". Fitted with a set of smooth walnut grips with silver engraved diamond screw escutcheons. Complete with a walnut presentation case, a commemorative medallion, research materials, and 12 dummy 45 Colt cartridges. The plaque on lid of case reads "ONE OF 50/COL. SAM'L COLT/SESQUICENTENNIAL MODELS/1814-1964/SAM BLOOMFIELD/NOV. 30, 1964".

Near new with only slight handling marks. The case is excellent with a few slight scratches. Mechanically excellent.
