Manufactured in 1907 in a deluxe takedown configuration. Equipped with a German silver blade front sight, elevation adjustable rear sight and Lyman tang sight. The barrel has the two-line address/patent information marking and "SAV.303" on top and the two line steel/model marking on the left side. Mounted on a checkered Schnabel forearm and straight grip stock fitted with steel factory marked flat buttplate.

Fine. The rifle retains 60% original blue finish with the balance a mixture of cold blue touch up and smooth brown patina. The buttplate has a smooth gray patina. The wood is fine with a series of eight notches crudely cut between the checkering on the underside of the wrist, some minor pressure dents and scratches, a few blemishes in the overall crisp checkering and most of the finish remaining. Mechanically excellent. Correction: this rifle does have a cocking indicator, it is the rectangular version and it is located on the top of the bolt body.
