The complete matching serial number is marked on the cylinder, barrel, frame, trigger guard and back strap, and the matching partial serial number "6720" is marked on the loading lever, wedge and "720" on the cylinder pin. Casehardened frame and loading lever, silver plated brass trigger guard and back strap, and blue remaining parts. Fitted with a smooth one piece varnished walnut grip.

Rating Definition:

Fine. The barrel retains 30% original blue finish with a dark patina on the balance. There are a few minor dings and some very minor spotting on the barrel. The cylinder has a smooth gray patina and the scene is completely visible. 40% original "soft" case colors remain on the frame. 95% original silver plating remains on the trigger guard and back strap, which is beginning to darken with age. The grip is also fine retaining 95% original varnish, and showing some lower edge wear and overall some minor dings and handling marks. The markings are clear. The action is excellent.
