Description:

Both bonds were issued by the Confederate States of America to fund their war effort. Confederate bonds and other currency became nearly worthless before the end of the war and were only worth their paper value after the Union victory. This naturally led to the vast majority of Confederate currency being destroyed. The $500 bond would have been redeemable two years after the ratification of a peace treaty had the South won the war, and the $10 bond would have been redeemable six months after the treaty.

Rating Definition:

Both are in very fine condition with slight handling and storage wear and come in plastic sleeves.
