Description:

Manufactured in 1943. Features standard fixed blade and notch sights, two-line/two-block address and patent dates with the Rampant Colt in the center on the left side of the slide, correct "P" proof just behind the ejection port on top of the slide, matching serial numbers under the firing pin stop, and a boxed "W.B." final inspection mark on the left side of the frame below the slide catch. Fitted with a short milled trigger; checkered slide catch, safety, and magazine release; wide checkered hammer, and an arched checkered mainspring housing. The grips are checkered Coltwood with reinforcing rings around the screws and strengthening ribs on the back.

Rating Definition:

Very fine with 90% plus original dark parkerized finish displaying mild edge and high point wear, handling marks, and small takedown marks under the slide catch. The barrel is a refinished replacement. The grips are very fine with light handling marks. Mechanically excellent.
